- The Terms apply to your use of the Service. Therefore, please read the Terms carefully.
- Center for Digital Dannelse (herinafter “We”, “Our”, “Us”) has prepared these Terms of Service (herinafter “Terms”) so that you know which rules apply to Our relationship with you. The Terms apply to your use of Our service The Digital Competence Wheel (herinafter “the Service”) and constitute a legally binding contract between you and Us.
- In order to use the Service, you have to agree to the Terms presented to you:
- Before using the Service
- When We make substantial changes to the Terms - The Terms apply to your use of the Service, and so you need to read them carefully.
- Agreeing to the Terms
- You cannot use the Service unless you agree to the Terms. When you agree to the Terms, you agree to comply with and be bound by the Terms.
- You have to be at least 13 years old in order to agree to the Terms yourself. If you are under 13 years old, you can only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts to comply with and be bound by the Terms on your behalf.
- Changes
- We constantly aim to improve the Service. This means that We can, at any time and without any warning, suspend or change the Service.
- We can at any time update or change the Terms. Users will be notified in case of major changes to the Terms.
- Rights that We give to you
- We own all rights, including title, trademarks, copyright, and interests including all intellectual property rights to the Service. This includes potential knowhow and documentation.
- You recieve a time limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-assignable right to access and use the Service. The purpose of your license is solely to give you access and the right to use the Service.
- You may not reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or in any way work around any technical limitations or forward content of this website without written permission from Us. Furthermore, you may not modify or create any derivative product(s) or services based on the Service and may not combine or integrate the Service with any hardware, software or other technology not permitted by Us. Finally, you may not use the material for commercial purposes. This includes both text, pictures, sound and video material.
- By agreeing to these Terms, you guarantee that you will not use the Service for any illegal purposes.
- Rights that you give to Us
- The Service gives you the opportunity to learn, examine, evaluate, and/or test some measurable areas. When you do that, you have the possibility of saving, sending, or receiving the results by email. You of course retain the ownership of potential immaterial rights that you have to the test results, but you give Us permission to use the result obtained from delivering the Service.
- Protection of personal data
- Your privacy means a lot to Us. You can find out how your Personal Data is handled when you use our Service by reading Our Privacy Policy.
- Functionality and guarantee
- The Service is offered “as is” and with the described standard functionality without any further guarantees of any sort.
- You are aware that the Service, like all other software-based services, can contain errors and bugs. Such errors and bugs are remedied in connection with Our regular maintenance of the Service. You cannot require any particular remedy or make claims of rights arising from breach of contract from a prior date.
- In the case that the Service is dependent on collecting information from you in order to present suggested recommendations, the result is only a suggestion. We take no responsibility for your actions based on output from the Service. This includes, with no limitation, if such actions do not deliver correct or the expected results.
- Limitation and liability
- We are under no circumstances liable for collateral damages, direct or indirect losses - including, but not limited to, consequential economic losses, loss of productivity, lack of savings, loss of earnings, goodwill, image, loss of data, or indirect losses - as a result of your use of the Service. You take on any liability connected to the use of the Service. Thus, We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- You are under all circumstances obliged to indemnify Us against any claim that a third party may bring against Us as a consequence of your breach of copyright law or the articles of these Terms in general.
- Force Majeure
- If We are prevented, hindered or delayed from or in performing any of Our obligations under these Terms by a Force Majeure event, we are not liable to you for any failure of, or delay in, the Service for the period that such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but are not limited to, acts of God, riots, war, terrorist acts, epidemics, pandemics, quarantines, war, strikes or labour disputes, embargoes, government orders, or any other Force Majeure events. In the event that one or more of the above-mentioned circumstances arise, we reserve the right to choose to either temporarily suspend the Service or to, without any liability, terminate your use of the Service.
- Applicable law and venue
- Any dispute between you and Us must be settled according to Danish law and at the District Court of Copenhagen.
